Did your child have a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad (homeschooling) day... again? If you have a child who struggles with schoolwork, reading, and/or concentration, you have probably had more than a few of these challenging days. Whether your child is dyslexic, has attention issues, or is just a late bloomer, homeschooling moms often feel like they are either not doing enough or not doing things the right way. Dyslexia is not a deficiency; it is a gift (even though it may not feel like it at times). Kids with dyslexia learn differently, so they need to be taught differently. In this session, I share the struggles, challenges, triumphs, and miracles I experienced while homeschooling my dyslexic child as well as teaching strategies that can be used with your own struggling student.
